I'm Already There-Lonestar

I believe that the really good love songs are country ones but the other genres are pretty good at love songs

Guys I dont think he called Seether emo, just forgot to add on the "nonemocry" songs in his first post, although he coulda just edited his first post...

Anyway, Two Worlds - Phil Collins is just about the only song that makes me cry, cos it was played at me dad's funeral.

Oh yeah, and, Butterfly Kisses - Shawn Mullins.

I think this guy must of had some sort of throat infection/accident or something because most releases after that song his voice was really different. Really really really different.

Way too many songs can make me cry. But I am a girl, I'm allowed to.

Here are some examples:

Richard Marx - Right here waiting
America - In the sea // All I've got to say
Bryan Adams - Everything I do
Johnny Cash - Hurt
Evanescence - My Immortal // Hello
Phil Collins - Against all odds
Placebo - Sleeping with ghosts
3 Doors Down - Here without you
Journey - Remember me
Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah
Counting Crows - Colorblind // Round here
The Cure - Pictures

There are plenty more songs, these just came to my mind spontanously. Yet it still depends on my mood, whether they make me cry or not.

[Edit] need to add Father and son... gosh...

Well here's a really tear jerker for me...

Not Gonna Cry - Mary J Blidge

Very powerful song from the movie Waiting To Exhale, I immediately think about my mom and her relationship with my dad. I think almost every female can relate some to this song, good song lol

You're mistaken, I love a bit of hiphop or pop- though I think the market's a bit saturated with R&B to be honest. I think you're right in saying most people here aren't big fns though, seems metal (bleh) is the music of choice around here.

TLC - Waterfalls, totally just got to me...the song is very emotional, and especially when Lisa Lopez (Left Eye) is dead, its really sad...alot of their songs get to me, but this especially.

Collective Soul - The World I Know

To date, the only song I've ever heard that can cause me to tear up. Especially the video. Love the video.

EDIT: I forgot one other...

Live - Lightning Crashes

I don't cry, well rarely and I'm not being macho or ought. The last time I cried properly was probably about 10-12 years ago. :O

I must be broken or something!! But the Counting Crows albums "Recovering the Satellites" and "August and Everything After" can bring me close to tears if I'm in a reminiscent mood.
